A visit from Capozzi's & Hier's

Nana and Pop Capozzi and Auntie Shelly, Uncle Jeremy, and Cousin Wesley came to visit us! It was so good to see family and watch Luke get to know his cousin a little bit better. Nana pushed the stroller at the Wild Animal Park. It was so nice to have lots of extra hands around to help with the boy. It takes a village to raise this one for sure! Dan got the the cutest picture we've ever taken of Luke. It is blown up and in our living room right now. We love it because it just captures his personality so well. As you can see, by the end of the day we were worn out from all the fun.

Maui Babe

That is what I call him in when he's in this outfit. Maui babe. It's been eight whole months and he's still rollin' Hawaiian style--no shoes. He prefers to keep the shoes off his feet and in his jaws. Lukey boy loves to have things in his mouth. He is constantly chewing, biting, and drooling on everything and anything he can get his hands on. So fun.

EASTER

One would assume that celebrating Easter for the first time at eight months old could be a bit overwhelming. Luke, at first apprehensive towards the bucket full of toys and the child size lion stuck to the back of it, was a little timid for about thirty seconds. Then he went for the treats like a dog to a bone. Literally. Everything must be tested for durability in the chompers.

All in all, it was a great first Easter for our little boy.

Child Labor......Find it

This is Luke's "Workstation." He spends time in here assembling, taking apart, and re-assembling the blocks pictured above. He loves to work for about five minutes. Then he wants nothing to do with any of it. Pictured below is the first face (complete with rapid arm flapping) he makes alerting us that Meltdown will commence in T-minus 10 seconds if immediate removal from workstation does not occur. To the untrained eye, this signature look most often goes unnoticed. His parents, however, have learned the hard way that this is most definitly not a cute expression. Unfortunately, actual Meltdown has not been captured on camera due to the ultrasonic lens-shattering quality of the shrieking and wailing.

We heart SDWAP

Prigmore's equal Animal lovers. As a result, we spend a lot of time at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Luke has been a frequent visitor there since we arrived on the mainland in January. He will be forced to visit frequently until he turns 18. Here is a picture of us on Mandala the golden southern white rhino. Dan (and apparently Luke) love the cheetahs. Click on the picture below.
